time
wow, summer just seemed to have flown by. jason & i didn't have our annual trip to florida this year. its more like we took individual trips. i went to london and he went to san diego. bastard went without me! how rude.
but still tons of fun seeing the family and watching my best friend get married.
i know there will be definite changes coming up. sorta scared but at the same time sorta ready too.
dallas trip in 3 days. i can't wait to go shopping.

snow day
i was o-f-f on saturday for the memphis vs southern miss game. they had a winter weather advisory of course, but who takes that seriously anyways. so when we got out round 2 PM it was sleeting! i like sleet so much better then rain. you get less wet that way. sleet then turned into snow. boy was it fun. major snow day in the midsouth!
its hard to believe it will be 36 degrees tomorrow and 72 degrees friday. global warming... and i will be in new orleans around this time on friday! yay for spring break!

revenge is best served at home
01.24.09 will be ingrained into my memory as the day memphis beat tennessee. that is at home nonetheless. i knew victory was there b/c i could taste it before the game even started. and to think i was a little nervous about it. to think that all that orange would be a little intimidating! i was glad that we were surrounded by tiger fans and the blue crew!
i wonder if the players heard us when we all chanted in unison. i hope so, cuz we sure were loud.
revenge is sooo SWEET. it has washed the taste of defeat and disappointment of last years loss!
im so glad we decided to make the 6 hour trip. soooo worth it!

a new year..
its 2009 already!! what the crap, 2008 flew by. i had an awesome holiday and very glad that its OVER. too much shopping is not good for the body. i am glad everyone liked their presents! i know i LOVED mine! i got a pink sony vaio - compliments of the bf! : ) this year i hope to accomplish a few things.. im going to try and put together a list. i went to my first NFL game. saw the Titans and Ravens in the AFC playoffs.. it was an experience. Titans did not win which sucked balls.. but good game. Raven fans were ASSHOLES! they were not gracious at all. now i see what southerners think about northerners.. arg.

the cold
omgosh it's cold as balls tonight. i can't wait for spring!
so i had an awesome bday! the bf took me shopping and i picked out my own presents. i didn't want to get another purse but it's really hard when someone's tempting you. so i ended up getting this really cute pink juicy couture purse : ) i must say i racked up on gifts this time. hehe. we grabbed dinner at carrabba's. i love love their food. i must say that it tops macaroni grill.
so basketball season has officially started. the tiger's exhibition game against cbu was okay. they had a slow start but eventually they gained a nice lead. tonight's home opener was against fairfield, ct. i must say i was a little nervous. i miss cdr, rose, and dorsey, but i think this years team will do fine. taggart was awesome defending and scoring in the paint. mack was good with 3's. and im so proud of everyone for practicing their free throws! its about time.
christmas is around the corner.. ugh i don't like christmas shopping at all. it is a pain in the ass!
